You know our priorities are deeply flawed when

military mercenary subcontractors make billions on "reconstruction" contracts to rebuild shite we bombed the fuck out of in nations that posed us no meaningful threat,
the insanely profitable oil industry receives billions in tax breaks and corporate subsidies and govt. handouts,
the government protects Monstanto's interests above that of the environment and the people, and hand them, again, billions in tax breaks and subsidies, etc., etc.
meanwhile,
efforts to find a cure for breast cancer, eliminate child sex trafficking, feed impoverished children have to call people and beg for money.
